Sara
Founder • Day Program Facilitator • Support worker • Yoga Guide
Sara is the founder of Sara’s Carers Support Services and brings together over a decade of experience in wellbeing, yoga, mindfulness and disability support.
As a qualified yoga teacher, teacher trainer and Cert III Disability Support Worker, Sara has spent many years supporting people to improve their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing through connection, movement, mindfulness and compassionate support.
Sara’s approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful relationships, nervous system regulation and genuine human connection are at the heart of quality care.
The values and skills developed through Sara’s extensive background in yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing are woven throughout Sara’s Carers Support Services and shared with all team members. Workers are encouraged to provide calm, compassionate, person-centred support while helping participants build confidence, independence, connection and overall wellbeing.
AKIRA

Akira brings a unique blend of wisdom, compassion and genuine curiosity to his role as a support worker. He is passionate about helping people feel seen, heard and supported to live life in a way that feels meaningful to them.
With a calm presence and thoughtful approach, Akira enjoys building authentic connections and supporting participants to explore their interests, engage with their community and develop greater confidence and independence. He understands that every person is different and believes the best support comes from listening, encouraging and meeting people where they are.
Known for his reflective nature and kind heart, Akira has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and accepted. He values meaningful conversations, personal growth and creating supportive environments where people can thrive.

Sean
Accounts & Administration
Sean keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you have questions about invoicing, bookings, or administration, Sean is the friendly voice helping make the practical side of things easy.
RACHEL
Support Worker
Rachel is a warm, compassionate support worker who genuinely loves helping people feel confident, connected and supported in their everyday lives.
She has experience working with children and young people, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and brings a calm, patient and encouraging approach to every support shift. Rachel particularly enjoys helping participants engage with their community, build independence and take part in activities that bring them joy and purpose.
Known for her kind nature and ability to build genuine connections, Rachel creates a safe and positive environment where people feel seen, valued and supported to be themselves.

Brendan
Support Worker
Brendan is a friendly, reliable and down-to-earth support worker who is passionate about helping people live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
With a calm and approachable nature, Brendan enjoys building genuine connections with participants and supporting them to engage in their community, pursue their interests and achieve their individual goals. He understands that quality support starts with trust, respect and taking the time to get to know each person as an individual.
Brendan brings patience, encouragement and a practical approach to his work, helping participants feel comfortable, capable and supported in everyday life. Whether it’s community access, social support, attending appointments or simply sharing a conversation, Brendan is committed to providing support that is both empowering and person-centred.
